Before installing this plugin it is required to install the software bundled with your Apogee CCD camera, which will install some low level drivers. After installing the bundled software for the first time verify that the CCD is correctly connected and try to acquire some test images with it.
Remember also that this plugin require the User Interface, available at our web site.

Start Astroart and click CCD Camera from the menu Tools / Plug-ins.
The first command to perform is the CCD check; Select the initializiation file for your Apogee camera (example: for the AP47 the file is "ap47.ini"). If the check fails verify all hardware connections.

• Data format: Select the format (integer 16 bit) of your camera, usually it's "16 bit unsigned".
• Long cable delay: This parameter may be required if your parallel port cable is longer than 10 meters.
• High priority: If enabled, during the download the priority of the task is increased to prevent noise.
• Temperature: Write here the desidered setpoint and click the "Set" button. If you want to display the temperature in real-time click the "Display" checkbox.
