To install this plug-in copy the file d_sxtrius.dll and this guide into the Astroart folder.
Remember that the Starlight-Xpress USB software and drivers must be installed as well, you may download them from the SX website.

Start Astroart and click Camera from the menu Tools / Plug-ins, then click "Setup".
If the camera and the USB driver is correctly installed the dialog window will close, if not, an error will be shown. To reset completely the camera follow this procedure: turn off the camera, turn off the PC, turn on the camera, then turn on the PC.

• Model: Select here the camera model.
  
• Full CCD Flush: Enabled by default. It can be disabled for faster exposure startup, this can be useful for fast sequences.
  
• Autoguide camera: Select this option if you wish to use the guide camera.
  
• High precision timer: Enabled by default. It's useful to provide a precise exposure time for short exposures. It may not work on old PCs (before 2005).
  
• Primary device: Select this option if you are using two identical Starlight cameras on the same PC. This option requires the option vid/pid below.
  
• Hardware timer: Select this option to use the SXV internal timer for extremely precise short exposures.
  
• Check vid/pid: Select this option, and write the correct pid (see below) if you are using two SX cameras at the same time.
  

This feature is used to correct the residual bulk image.
You may enable it only for long exposures (for quicker short exposures) and you may select additional CCD flushes, usually 0 or 1 is fine.

Setting vid/pid is needed if you are using two SX cameras at the same time.
