To install this plug-in copy the files d_video.dll into the Astroart directory.

Start Astroart and click CCD Camera from the menu Tools.

• Device. Select here the video camera or web cam to be used.
• Mode. Select here the video mode, please note than some modes may not be compatible with this driver.
• Connect. Click this button to connect to the camera.
• Options. Click here to display the camera options, which may vary. If your camera allows to change the fps and/or the exposure time, select the slowest frame rate (e.g. longer exposure).
• Long exposures. Select how very long exposures are simulated, adding or averaging video frames.

Binning can be controlled inside the CCD Panel.

• 1 x 1. This is the standard mode, which provides high resolution images.
• 2 x 2. Four pixels are summed by software into one, to increase the dynamic of every frame to 10 bit.

2014/05/15: 3.60 Compatible with ASI cameras (we suggest to use the ASCOM driver anyway).
